You’ve invested in a great Turtle Beach headset for your PS3 and you’re getting the PlayStation 4 console in the coming weeks. The question on your mind is, “will my headset work on the PS4?”. That’s the question we’re going to help answer for you. One important note is regarding the upcoming PS4 firmware update that will bring legacy headset compatibility to the console. This firmware is NOT the 1.5 update which you will need from day 1 of buying the console. Sony has confirmed that the legacy headset support will come in the second firmware update. The has been no set date for that second update so keep that in mind. Don’t get your hopes up for complete PS4 support with all the Turtle Beach headsets.

Why would the px5 not work in the same way as the px51? Or will they? I just don’t see the px5 above and on the tb website they don’t list the px5 will work?

I use the turtle beach x11 for xbox 360 on my ps4…works like a charm. All you need is an audio converter from a/v to 1/8 headphone jack.
